The 2000 Kilometer Walk
Three Aussies–Dave, Carnsey and Sav–are walking 2000 kilometers over 80 days, from Cairns to Stanthorpe, Australia. They are raising awareness of the 350 million people who speak those 2000 languages will be without God’s Word.
Sixteen days will be allocated as rest days, leaving 64 walk days. That means each they’ll cover an average of over 30km (19 miles) on each day of the walk. Each kilometer represents a distinct living language that doesn’t yet have the Word of God. Nothing – not even a single verse. The job of spreading the Good News is far from being finished.
