Audio: The Sound of Rain

I woke up at 6:00 in the morning to the sound of a steady rain. A frog croaked. I thought I would get more frogs in this recording, but I got mostly rain. You may have to turn up the volume to hear it.

The recording was done on March 5th in the village of Arop-1, in Sundaun (East Sepik) Province, Papua New Guinea.

Thanks for this sharing! Precious and splendid with closed eyes from where I am in France at this time…
It reminds me of my youth in the West Indies, around 15 years ago.

I had not realized that our blog reached as far as France. Thanks for posting. 🙂

Oh yeah! Fortunately, there is no distance for the prayer.
Don’t hesitate to post another sound if you can. Why not, some songs or hymns in the language of heart 🙂

Sounds cool! I was curious and looked up frogs of PNG and discovered that PNG can boast it has the tiniest vertebrate in the world, just found a few years ago, a frog measuring 7.7 mm. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for that one! 🙂

I didn’t know that, Carol. I doubt these frogs are that small. They’re quite loud. I’m hoping to upload a recording of them.
