Photo Essay: Travel in the Back of a Truck

Our travel in and out of the village is in the back of a pick up truck.

Here is one of our team members, Missy Smith, in the back of a truck with two of our translators, Petrus and Dominic.

The trucks are equipped with snorkels (see bottom photo) so they don’t get flooded in “puddles” like this one:

The airplane isn’t necessarily waiting for us when we arrive at the airstrip. The truck can become a shelter in the rain.
